After-Hours Urgent Repairs

If you experience an urgent repair after hours, as defined by NSW Fair Trading, please take the following steps:

  1. Contact the relevant emergency tradesperson directly.
  2. Submit a repair request via Tapi with detailed information and any supporting photos or videos. Alternatively, you can email your Portfolio Manager.

 

Important Notes:

  • Urgent vs. Non-Urgent: Only contact tradespeople after hours for genuine emergencies. If a repair is arranged by you as the tenant and it deemed non-urgent or tenant at fault, you will be responsible for the cost of the callout and/or repairs.
  • Responsibility for Costs: Tenants may be responsible for the cost of after-hours repairs if they are deemed non-urgent or caused by negligence. 
  • Outages: If there are widespread power or water outages, check with Ausgrid (13 13 88) or Sydney Water (13 20 90) respectively for information. 

 

Immediate Danger - Call 000:

  • Life-threatening situations: Call 000 (Police, Ambulance, Fire).
  • Risk to property: If there's a serious risk of damage or injury, call 000.
